On the 1st of July HeatoN visited Microsoft, a dear partner of CO/GENES, in their Taiwan offices.

On this day, the final discussions were decided about the HeatoN challenge in Taiwan on the 5th of July. The HeatoN challenge is hosted by CO/GENES and Microsoft in a joint cooperation together with nVidia who has joined as a supporting part.

All gamers are welcome to come and challenge HeatoN in a battle. There will be lots of prizes to win and of course – the fame!
 

These are not the only events featuring HeatoN however.
Here is a list with dates of HeatoNs appearances in early July:
3rd of July, HeatoN will visit 2 retail shops, one in Taipei and one in Tainan.
3rd of July, HeatoN will teach gamers about CS in a TV studio.
4th of July, HeatoN will visit Taiwan local the local Taiwan tournament -- Aztec Star League.
5th of July, HeatoN Challenge by CO/GENES and Microsoft


 

In the Microsoft offices HeatoN tried out a new edition of the Microsoft gaming mouse and keyboard and also played a bit of Fallout 3 – one of Microsofts big PC game names.

HeatoN has been a loyal user of the Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0. In this picture you see HeatoN receiving an IntelliMouse 3.0 award, which symbolizes Microsofts respect for HeatoN and his achievements in Counter-Strike 1.6. The trophy was awarded by Grace Chou, Director of Entertainment in the Device Division of Microsoft Taiwan.

HeatoN also received his very own mouse. A HeatoN 3.0 special edition IE3.0 mouse was developed for him. The mouse is white and has “HeatoN” written in the lower end.

HeatoN presents CO/GENES gaming bag to Microsoft

During HeatoNs and CO/GENES visit at Microsoft Taiwan, it was discussed how the three parties, CO/GENES, HeatoN and Microsoft can work closer together to improve the experience of eSports in the future.

We will not tell of these plans yet – but keep tuned, as there will be many great news!
